If you have not heard of MOCCA by now.. you must live in a hole... either that or... you've not taken a TV Mobile equipped bus (public buses in Singapore, which come equipped with free-to-air TV) in a LONG LONG time!
For those who STILL don't know, MOCCA, stands for MediaCorp Online Communities and Classified Advertising. Basically, it's an online classifieds.. with a *gasp* SEARCH function! Which gives it an edge over it's newspaper counterpart.
Recently, they began an online competition to promote their website. The competition is for the coming Valentines Day, to see who's online love declaration is better. And I'm proud to say, my army buddy, none other than Eugene Fu .. came in 4th place!!! He won a pair of ODM watches.
Big thank you to all who voted for him!!! See his video here! :
For those suckers, whose (obviously outdated) Internet browsers fail to load the above video, or for those mentally challenged individuals (LIKE ME!!!) who failed to notice that there was a STORYLINE behind Eugene's Video.. Here it goes.. *SPOILER WARNING*.. I recommend watching the clip first.
1. Boy wakes up on Valentine's Day
2. Boy realises that he hasn't got a present for his girlfriend.. so he decides to get her a puppy.. only to realise that he does not have enough cash..
3. He goes back to the 'thinking chair'.. while defecating, he decides to fold her little origami stars.. only to find that he sucks at it and after wasting the whole afternoon on it.. he realises that he does not have anymore time.
4. Boy rushes off to meet Girl.. supposedly empty handed..
5. However.. he manages to produce a gift, hidden in his mouth..hehe... (watch vid to find out what)
The silly thing was.. I didnt realise that there was a storyline until the 3rd time I watched it and my mum commented on the story haha...
Sadly, I did not vote for him.. cause by the time I knew about the video.. VOTING WAS CLOSED!!! *cry* .. It was only thanks to Daxuan and Collin Yeo's Blog that I knew about this. Anyway Eugene, I hope you make more videos like this!!! Btw.. maybe you can get Samuel Soh to teach you how to fold those girly origami stars next time.
